Senior level Unix/SAN Engineer with more than 15 years of experience in systems administration, systems engineering and systems programming. Proven experience building robust fault tolerant systems providing various network and database services including http, ldap, dns and oracle. Demonstrated ability to successfully lead complex projects and motivate team members. Strong “hands on” experience planning, implementing and managing Storage Area Networks and Enterprise Backup Solutions. In depth experience with iSCSI and Fibre Channel SANs.

Skill Summary

Skilled in design and implementation of storage networks including fibre channel and iSCSI. I have skill with a wide range of storage arrays from all the major storage vendors and experience with brocade and Cisco fibre channel switches. In addition to storage skills I have expert level skill with Sun Solaris and am highly skilled with other Unix operating systems including Linux. In addition to technical skills I have experience presenting technical solutions to engineers and business executives using MS Powerpoint or by white boarding.

Developed scripts for the SAN attach kit.
Developed and executed test plans for Veritas Cluster with Netapp SAN.
Lead ZFS interoperability testing with Netapp storage.

Build and configure complex clustered environments using Solaris 10, Sun Cluster and Veritas Cluster with shared storage configured from Netapp arrays. Measure and analyze host and storage behavior during injected faults.
